Itiba.tv is an organisation that provides livestreaming, recordings, uploading of videos and use of outside broadcasting. Its aims are to connect and build communities around the world and to allow Islamic scholars and mosques to teach worldwide. Itiba.tv provides high quality live streaming over the internet. Through this service, lessons, lectures and Q&A sessions can be live streamed, recorded, downloaded and replayed anytime from anywhere. Iitba.tv was designed for non-technical users and can be remotely controlled even from smartphones or tablets.
All live streams are currently streamed and optionally recorded and archived via the Facebook live service.
Your main rights as a data subject are:
- To request both a copy of your personal data held by the data controller (in this case Itiba.tv) and that Itiba.tv update or delete your personal data or preferences.

What information do we collect and how do we collect it?
Our databases are mainly formed with information on the public domain as well as formed by data subjects who freely provide us with their contact details through logging in to Itiba.tv via Facebook.
When asking users to login via Facebook, we request their: Name Gender Email Location This is to create a user account in Itiba.tv and to personalise their services. These details are securely stored in our databases.
When asking streamers to login via Facebook, we request their:
- Name
- Facebook Page Names
Streamers explicitly have to give us permission to pull their Facebook live streams and archived content, which also includes pulling the video, video titles, descriptions, status, and other relevant video metadata into Itiba.tv

Our services are based on the public interest and to inspire people from diverse cultures, different socio-economic backgrounds from around the world to experience an educational and spiritual journey for their own self-development.
